Best Way to Get Rid of Belly-How to Start A Fat Loss Program The Right Way

If you  are trying to figure out the best way to get rid of your belly, I'm sure you have heard that its important to take your time and go nice and easy so you will keep it off for good. I know I have heard this and always thought it was the right advice.

However, I happened to be reading Tom Venuto's burn the fat blog today (you can find it at and he talked about something totally opposite. In fact, he discusses the benefits of burning fat off quickly the first few weeks you start a fat loss program and how a person can keep it off more effectively if they do so.

Tom says this: "If you lose weight quickly in the first week or two of your fat loss program, you’re more likely to gain it back later, right? That’s a common belief, and in some cases, it’s true. But what if you could burn fat fast in the first week, achieve a large fat loss in the 3 or 4 weeks, and that actually HELPED you keep the fat off over the long term? Guess what? You can… and it does!  It’s all about knowing the difference between quick start and quick fix and knowing about the mistakes you must avoid if you want to start strong – safely and sustainably."

Tom has some excellent points to cover in his article, all of it scientically based which I appreciate. Tom is a body builder and an expert if fat and weight loss. So, when he comes up with findings, I always sit up and pay attention.
