I have to admit that I have done what today's post is all about! I know I am not alone when it comes to why some of us aren't losing weight.
Reason #4 Why You Are Not Losing Weight: You go to the gym or do some other type cardio outside no matter how tired and beat you are.
This happens because many of us have heard that it's better to burn a few calories than none at all.
The truth is, it is more beneficial to d rop your workout if you are exhausted says Alejandro D. Chediak, MD. It seems that when we are sleep deprived, hormonal level changes which can trigger cravings for sugars and starches.
Another reason to ditch the workout is because you may not be able to workout at the same intensity level.
The recommendation from Dr. Chediak is to get at least 7 hours of sleep and schedule your workouts earlier in the day.
So, the lesson here, ditch the workout if you are exhausted!
