Today's get skinny quick post is a follow up from the previous one.
We have been talking about 6 surprising reasons you are not losing weight. This information was gathered from the March 2009 issue of Shape magazine.
Yesterday's tip had to do with loading up on the right whole grain foods.
Today's tip has to do with how allowing yourself a cheat day or two is not good.
When anyone denies themselves, they set themselves up to fail and binge. So, they then figure they will be "good" during the week, and ease off on the weekend.
In reality, folks who do this actually gain back the little bit of weight they may have lost during the week because of their weekend choices. This is because every calorie counts.
So, instead of going crazy on the weekends, a few days a week allow yourself a 150-200 calorie treat.
I think any of us can do this right?!
